Case molded with a free placement design, which allows jig to be returned to case after use without removing attachments or having them in an exact location. Some attachments and accessories that do not need to be adjusted “snap” into their slots for a snug fit. Rigid plastic case with stainless steel clasps and handle for easy transport. Durable design protects hardware jigs and includes extra compartments for drill bits, stop collars and miscellaneous accessories.
Sent it back. I couldn’t get the extension to snap into the receiver, and there was limited space for any “extras” I might have wanted to store with the jig.
It works perfect storing the template parts, everything fits
Good protection for the hardware boring jig.
I put off buying this case because there were some questions in the reviews about the quality control, some people had nothing bad to say, some said the case didn’t perform as advertised. The case is fine, it holds all of the loose components in place. The thing is, the places where parts are securely held in the lid are tight and the first time I put the extension ruler in I had to use more pressure than I expected I was going to need, but since that first time it’s been easy to secure it and remove it and it is held firmly when stored. True Position actually included a slip of paper inside the case that explains that this is normal and also explains that the jig itself is held in place by the lid of the case when closed and is otherwise floating, which is the same as with any tool case, i.e. a drill. It’s a good product and I’m satisfied with my purchase.
Not tight enough to properly hold the jig and accessories. Love true positions jigs but this isn’t on par with the quality of there hardware jigs. I bought one with intentions to buy 4 more for the others jigs my installers use, but won’t because of the loose fit. Maybe I just got a bad one or something but when you have a $1000 worth of jigs from the same manufacture you assume the case should be on same level as product going in it.
Just as described. Quick service
This jig is it a must have wish I had those years ago
Very good toll
Useful to protect my investment
Very easy to use
Quedo perfecto el temple
I had the same experience as the first review. It doesn’t hold anything. The bits fall out and the extension won’t go into the slot for it. Must be bad quality control because the other two reviews have praise.
Poorly molded. Does not hold anything that came with my jig. The bits dont “snap” into the case, they just lay in the slit and fall out as soon as you try to shut the lid. Very dissapointed in the case.
Great case for a high precision tool. I purchased this to keep my jig from getting damaged in the back of my truck with all of my tools. I love that it holds 3 of the drill bits for the jig. It also holds the extension ruler available for this jig. My only criticism is that the case doesn’t make it readily apparent where all the pieces go, and the main jig doesn’t seem tightly held in place like the drill bit and extension ruler do.
Pretty good case. Everything fits except the 5mm drill bit that comes with the jig. Draw latches seem a little flimsy. Still better than a cardboard box.
