Once you tighten these onto a drill bit, good luck taking them off or adjusting them. When you tighten the set screw the ring clamps down on the drill bit. When you loosen the set screw, the ring stays tight right where it is. You nearly have to damage the ring to adjust it or to remove it.I personally would not recommend this item.
